The Oswego County Office for the Aging will sponsor an informational seminar on Tuesday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The class, “Medicare 101” will take place at the Oswego County Health Department on Bunner Street in Oswego.
Buc Athletes Sign Up For College Action
A trio of Oswego High School student-athletes signed letters of intent recently. They are Chris Pike (Gannon), Lacey Brown (Pfeiffer University) and Sean Stegemoller (Canisius). Pike will play football, Brown lacrosse and Stegemoller will swim at the college level.
Credit Union Supports Firefighters’ Drive For A Cure
The Oswego City Firefighters Association will hold its fourth annual golf tournament to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The tournament is a four-man captain and crew. It will be held at the Tamarack Golf Club on July 10 at 9 a.m.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County with generous support from Bejo seed, Crop Production Services, Syngenta, and Helena Chemical will present the annual “Oswego County Onion Growers Twilight Meeting” June 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the John Dunsmoor Farm in Oswego.

Fulton CYO Gets Ready For Summer Recreation Program
The CYO Summer Drop-in Recreation Program at Catholic Charities of Oswego County will begin July 5 and continue through Aug. 12. The program is offered free of charge to children ages 7 to 14 in Oswego County and is held Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Red Cross Establishes One Phone Number for Military Message Service
The American Red Cross provides military members and their families with 24-hour access to a global emergency communications network designed to keep families connected in a crisis, provide case management services and assist with emergency financial assistance.
