During the month of June, Services to Aid Families, a program of OCO, will be hosting events and awareness activities in recognition of the White Ribbon Campaign. SAF is the domestic violence and rape crisis program for Oswego County and has provided crisis, supportive, advocacy and educational services throughout Oswego County for more than 30 years.

Oswego County Opportunities, one of the top 10 largest private employers in Oswego County, recently welcomed nine new staff members. To ensure the success of the new employees OCO provides a thorough orientation session that acclimates employees to the history, mission and vision of the agency.

The British Flag was lowered and the American Flag was raised over historic Fort Ontario as a large audience, mostly elementary students, learned about the history of the flag and the fort, too.

Sunrise Residential Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center of Oswego, has received ‘Very Positive’ survey results from the New York State Department of Health for facility compliance with all State and Federal program requirements, according to Joseph Murabito, Sunrise Administrator.
