Bower grabbed the lead at the drop of the green of the 35 lap feature and dominated till a late yellow with 3 laps to go to bunch the field up. Over the final laps Bower pulled away from current point’s leader Stewart Friesen for his first win since the 2004 season.

The huddled crowd watched on as the competitor made a last ditch effort for victory. One false move and everything she had worked hard for would be gone. Spectators gasped as the tower started to tumble, just before the time limit had expired. Then they ate the wreckage and washed it down with some milk.
