Antique Gun Enthusiasts Meet in Fulton This Weekend
An important part of Fulton history will be celebrated this weekend when collectors of guns made in a famous Fulton factory come to town to talk about, look at, and fire their antique weapons.
Hunter Arms Homecoming Weekend features a display of L. C. Smith guns, which were made in the Fulton factory, and a shooting competition for those whose guns still work.

“John, His Story” on Stage at First United Church
First United Church of Fulton, 33 South Third Street, Fulton will be the setting for the sacred drama, ‘John, His Story’, on Sunday, October 16th, at 6:30 pm. Twenty-seven characters are played by four actors as they tell the story of the miracles found in the Gospel according to St. John. A free will offering will be received.

Rural Health Network’s How Does Tobacco Look on You? Campaign Recognizes Contributing Partners
Earlier this year the Rural Health Network of Oswego County, working in collaboration with the Oswego County Health Department, and the Tobacco Free Network, launched a campaign to help decrease point of sale advertising and to raise awareness of tobacco advertising and promotional materials aimed at women between the ages of 14 to 24.

Fort Ontario To Close (For The Season)
On Oct. 15 – 16, the last weekend of Fort Ontario’s operating season, the Friends of Fort Ontario will hold a year end sale of fort T-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, toy muskets, historic puzzles, toy soldiers, and many other souvenirs and memorabilia. This would be an ideal time to visit the fort and do some early holiday shopping while supporting Oswego’s great national landmark.
