Fallen Oswego Firefighter To Be Honored
The 30th annual National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend will honor 10 New York State firefighters who died in the line of duty in 2010 and in previous years, including an Oswego firefighter. Scott W. Davis of the Oswego Fire Department died after suffering a heart attack within 24 hours after several emergency responses on June 20, 2010.

Fulton Police say Moses and his girlfriend were sitting in a car at Empower Federal Credit Union on S. Second St. in Fulton Monday morning. A contractor working on the building thought that was suspicious.

At approximately 8:56 a.m., Fulton Police responded to the parking lot of Empower Federal Credit Union located at 520 S. Second St. in regard to an occupied suspicious vehicle.

The Oswego County Board of Elections reminds residents that the last date that new voter registrations can be filed in person is Friday, Oct.14. New registrations sent in the mail must be postmarked by Oct. 14 and received by Oct. 19.
