Lenhart Celebrates 25 Years of Service to Oswego County

Lenhart is a support examiner at the Oswego County Department of Social Services. Proposed Fulton City Budget Holds 1% Tax Levy Increase

Spending will go down a little, but taxes will go up a little in the budget being proposed by Mayor Ron Woodward’s administration.  Some big spending increases that are beyond the city’s control are being balanced by cuts to the public library, ambulance service and summer sidewalk repair.

Oswego Veteran Finally Receives His OHS Diploma

Harold Woods, 87, a veteran of two wars, finally received his high school diploma on Tuesday night. Taking part in the presentation are, from left, Brian Hartwell, OHS principal; Mr. Woods' daughter, Liz; Mr. Woods; and Superintendent Bill Crist.Harold Woods earned around two dozen medals during his long and distinguished military career that saw him participate in two wars. On Tuesday night, after nearly 70 years, he finally received his high school diploma.

Bowen sees that the donations are mailed to active military troops.Assemblyman Will Barclay’s office recently assisted the Ladies Auxiliary and the Pulaski VFW Post 7289 in collecting items to send to active military troops in Afghanistan again this year.
