The Fulton high school theatre students will be sponsoring a spaghetti dinner on Tuesday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Fulton Polish Home, located on West First Street. The meal will feature pasta, meatballs, salad, bread and spaghetti sauce from Canale’s Restaurant.

Inspectors are needed at various polling sites around the county. The position pays $110 for the primary election and $160 for the general election. Inspectors are paid $30 to complete a training program.

He announced that the generic tax rate for Oswego County has decreased by 25 percent since 2005 and discussed efforts to protect local services and relieve county taxpayers of the burden of New York State mandates.

The Oswego County Department of Social Services is looking for people who would like to become foster families, particularly for children ages 14 and over. Families are especially needed for teenagers who have specific supervision needs.

Open to youth ages 8 through 14, Camp Hollis offers a week-long summer residential camp experience complete with swimming, nature hikes, games, campfires, arts and crafts  and many more activities.

Each fall, the Fulton Veterans’ Council chooses a “Veteran of the Year” from among the memberships of several Fulton veterans’ organizations. This year, Charles Callen was named “Veteran of the Year.”

Emergency Management Director Patricia Egan said that replacement batteries are mailed to residents on an annual basis to ensure proper operation of these radios.
