The Oswego State women’s ice hockey team (10-13-2, 8-8-2 ECAC West) came up just short in similar goal-trading style of Saturday night’s game, as the Lakers fell 4-3 to seventh-ranked Elmira (20-4-1, 15-3-0 ECAC West) Sunday afternoon.

Oswego State women’s ice hockey team nearly pulled off an upset, but came up just short in a 4-3 loss to seventh-ranked Elmira College Saturday night. The two teams traded the lead with goals on each side throughout the entire 60 minutes of play.
Fulton Snowmobile Racer Hurt in Accident that Killed North Country Man
According to WWNY-TV in Watertown, John Altman, III of Fulton suffered injuries in a crash during a vintage snowmobile race in Gouverneur Saturday.
The crash killed a racer from Ontario and forced the rest of the day’s races to be cancelled.
Oswego State Men’s Ice Hockey Team Whites Out Potsdam
The top-ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team (21-2-2, 14-0-2 SUNYAC) posted its second consecutive shutout to close out the regular season with a 3-0 win against Potsdam (8-15-2, 6-10-0 SUNYAC) Saturday at the Campus Center Arena.

Oswego Council Supports Opposition To ‘Unachievable’ Regulations
At this week’s Common Council meeting, councilors expressed support of the Common Council of St. Catherines, Canada, in regard to proposed NYS ballast water regulations and the possible adverse effects on the Great Lakes.The regulations would pretty much shut down the port and cripple much of the economy in Central New York, opponents say.
