Students at Trinity Catholic School presented Catholic Charities of Oswego County with the results of its Hats for the Homeless drive, one of the many service events that the school’s students participated in as part of Catholic Schools Week.
The organization called Thank a Service Member gave a ceremonial send-off to soldiers from the 444th Engineer Company of Oswego as they prepared to deploy to Afghanistan last week. Thank a Service Member formed, as the name suggests, to simply thank soldiers for serving our great country.

The Oswego High School boys’ varsity basketball team and swimming squad continued to win while the hockey team saw a three goal lead disappear and had to settle for a tie. Meanwhile, the wrestlers are battling in post season tournament competition.
