Alphonso Viscome, 87, of Fulton died Tuesday March 27, 2012, in Oswego Hospital after a brief illness.

The Fulton Elks will be serving fish dinners (and other choices) every Friday through April 6. Serving will be from 5 – 7 p.m. in the lodge hall at 57 Pierce Drive. Dinners are open to the public and takeouts are available.
The principals’ group, known as the Oswego County Administrators included BOCES’ Director of Career and Technical Education Ronald Camp; Brian Schmitt, Hannibal High School principal; Brian Buchanan, assistant principal at G. Ray Bodley High School; and Jamie Coppola, Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School principal.
The Utica National School Safety Excellence Awards Program is divided into three levels – titanium, platinum and gold. OCB earned the highest merit of distinction in the program, the titanium with honors award.
On March 31, come to the Oswego County War of 1812 Symposium and hear about military strategies, civilian life and the Native American influence on the war as fighting broke out along the New York-Canadian border.
