The culmination of a nearly 10-year endeavor, the new radio translator on Cayuga CC Fulton Campus transmits the signal in Auburn to 97.7 FM, to allow the Fulton community to hear the broadcast.
When John and I were in Roscommon, Ireland, during June 2011 I contacted Sarah Browne to set up a cooking experience featuring Irish food. I was surprised to learn that in Ireland the traditional dish is bacon and cabbage served with a side of Savoy cabbage boiled in the bacon water, accompanied by champ which is mashed potatoes seasoned with scallions, milk, and butter along with salt and pepper.

It was a game of two gigantic heavyweights standing toe to toe and slugging it out for nearly three and a half periods before Laker Paul Rodrigues was on the receiving end of a Luke Moodie pass. Moodie battled along the boards for the puck and got it out of a crowd to Rodrigues who was breaking in on All-American, Division III Players of the year Jonathan LaRose.
Paul Rodrigues (Jr., Etobicoke, Ont.) scored 7:20 into overtime to move the third-ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team (24-3-2) into the championship game with a 2-1 win over second-ranked Amherst College (24-4-1) on Friday night at Herb Brooks Arena.
As a result of the January search, police discovered and seized a Remington 870 shotgun, which had been altered to an illegal state. Specifically, the barrel had been shortened, or ‘sawed off.’ Police also seized what appeared to be two homemade silencers for the shotgun and two other long guns which were secured for safe keeping.
