The Oswego State softball team hit three home runs during Wednesday’s doubleheader against Utica, but came up short in 9-5 and 8-5 decisions as the Pioneers belted eight home runs over the course of both games.
The Children’s Board of Oswego’s hanging basket fundraiser is under way. Hundreds of children took part in a birthday celebration today (April 11) inside and outside at the Oswego Public Library. The guest of honor was parked in front of the library on East First Street. It was one year ago today that a contingent of volunteers returned to Oswego from a journey to Ohio to check out a bookmobile that was for sale.
Novelis has joined on as the presenting sponsor of the upcoming Tri-Oswego 2012 Triathlon scheduled for June 16th in Oswego, according to Tri-Oswego Race Director Shane Broadwell. This is the second consecutive year Novelis has partnered with the event.
