The Children’s Board of Oswego’s hanging basket fundraiser is under way. UPDATE: Police have identified the victim as Maryfrancis Goulet of Fulton. She is reported as being stable and currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries. At 4:18 p.m. April 11, the Oswego City Police and Fire departments responded to a report of a roll over motor vehicle accident at West Utica and Dublin streets.
Hundreds of children took part in a birthday celebration today (April 11) inside and outside at the Oswego Public Library. The guest of honor was parked in front of the library on East First Street. It was one year ago today that a contingent of volunteers returned to Oswego from a journey to Ohio to check out a bookmobile that was for sale.
Novelis has joined on as the presenting sponsor of the upcoming Tri-Oswego 2012 Triathlon scheduled for June 16th in Oswego, according to Tri-Oswego Race Director Shane Broadwell. This is the second consecutive year Novelis has partnered with the event.
Teams have until May 14 to register for this year’s American Racer Cup program. Drivers are urged to signup opening night April 20 at the Brewerton Speedway.
