The spring skies and water echo with noise and activity as ducks, geese, herons, and other birds return to their natal ponds to court and raise their young. Participants can enjoy a slide presentation on ducks and other water bird residents of the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center’s ponds.

Public Education Specialists Joanne Kelly and Rick Busler with the CNY Developmental Disabilities Services Office and a few of their special puppet friends talked to students about disabilities and then role-played scenarios to illustrate ways that students with disabilities are similar to students without disabilities.

Modified winter athletic team coaches kicked off the assembly by introducing the grade seven and grade eight girls’ basketball teams and the grade seven and grade eight boys’ basketball teams.

Members of the Altmar Elementary, Parish Elementary and the APW Middle School parent groups are working together to create a positive environment for students in the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown School District.

Through Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s Relatives Raising Relatives program caregivers, who through a variety of circumstances have taken on the responsibility of raising their relative’s children are able to receive support, advocacy, and information on how to access other beneficial programs.
