Cortland eliminates Laker Men’s Soccer from playoff contention

The Oswego State men’s soccer team (4-10-1, 3-5-1 SUNYAC) was unable to score in a must-win game at Cortland (8-7-1, 5-3-1 SUNYAC), and the Lakers were eliminated from State University of New York Athletic Conference playoff contention in a 1-0 loss on Saturday.

Senior Michelle Ruskey (Deerfield, N.Y.) tallied the lone goal of the game in the sixth minute to help the Oswego State field hockey team (4-10, 2-4 SUNYAC) send its six seniors out in style with a 1-0 win over Brockport (6-6, 2-4 SUNYAC) on Saturday.
