Construction of the St. Francis Commons Assisted Living Program Residence in Oswego is under way. When open, St. Francis Commons will be the only senior care residence in Oswego County offering licensed Assisted Living Program services and amenities.

The working farm in Oneida hosts a Disability Awareness weekend every fall. The grant made it possible for 14 youth with disabilities from all over the county to attend the event on September 22.
Low-Cost Financing from NYS Approved for City of Oswego Stormwater, Sewer Projects
The Board of Directors of the New York State Environmental Facilities Corp. approved $7.96 million in short-term financing for the city of Oswego, including $4 million in no-interest loans, to improve sewer and stormwater collection in the city.
After Much Debate, County Sets Reapportionment Public Hearing
Discussion on setting the time and place for a public hearing relative to a proposed local law on a reapportionment plan for Oswego County quickly segued into a debate about the tentative proposal. Some legislators questioned whether the county’s plan is legal. The public will have its say prior to the legislature’s December meeting.
