Teen Rescued From Lake Ontario Near Lighthouse
The Oswego Fire Department responded to a report of a person in the water in the Oswego Harbor along the breakwall just west of the lighthouse on Monday. Firefighters located the victim in the water about 50 yards west of the lighthouse along the breakwall and pulled the 18-year-old into the department’s boat. The teen was transported to Oswego Hospital and is being currently treated.

OHS Girls’ Varsity Basketball Coach Suspended For Remainder Of Season
Superintendent Bill Crist issued the following announcement: “It is with considerable disappointment that the Oswego High School girls’ varsity basketball coach has been suspended from his coaching duties for the remainder of the season.
