Longin John “Red” Minota, 89, of Phoenix, passed away Monday January 21, 2013, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.

Christine D. Cerklewich, 54, of Oswego, died Saturday January 19, 2013, peacefully at home with her family and four golden retrievers by her side.
Members of the Oswego Fire Department recently took part in a training exercise at the Eastside Fire Station. Each of the four OFD shifts took part in both classroom and hands-on training in Advanced Vehicle Extrication Training.
