Bill Mason celebrated his 100th birthday Wednesday with about 100 or so of his family, friends and assorted other well-wishers. “I have had such a ball! A hundreds years and it was a ball,” the birthday boy exclaimed.
Frances Amelia Williamson Leppert, 92, a longtime resident of Fulton, passed away Wednesday February 6, 2013, at St. Luke Health Services, Oswego.
On Tuesday, at approximately 2:30 p.m., troopers were called to a Pulaski residence for a reported domestic incident with a female. Besides charged relating to the domestic incident, two people were also charged with Unlawful Manufacturing of Methamphetamine.
The Price Chopper Golub Foundation granted $500 to the Friends of Oswego County Hospice in support of Camp Rainbow of Hope. The camp is for Oswego County children ages eight to 12 who have experienced the loss of a loved one.
The Oswego Players’ first show of the season, “Dial M for Murder,” on February 8 at 8 p.m., opens an exciting chapter in the history of the organization. “Dial M,” a classic mystery brought to the screen by Alfred Hitchcock, opens the 75th year of continuous operation of this all volunteer group.
The following local residents were named to the Dean’s List at Ithaca College for the fall 2012 semester.
Abby L. Howard, of Oswego, was honored this past December for completing the requirements for a Bachelor of Professional Studies degree in management specializing in fashion merchandising, from Cazenovia College.
