Aerial spraying of the Toad Harbor / Big Bay Swamp area near the north shore of Oneida Lake is tentatively scheduled to begin on Sunday evening, September 15, weather permitting.
The local coin club would like to announce that its annual coin and collectible show will be held in the Fulton Municipal Building on September 22 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. They will hold hourly drawings starting at 11 a.m. They also encourage the public to attend so they can participate in a 50/50 drawing of gold, silver and related items in the drawing as there many chances to win.

I would like to thank the Republican and Conservative voters of Hannibal for placing their trust in me and choosing me as their candidate in the general election for Town Justice. This year’s primary election had a great turnout.
The Oswego Buccaneer Boosters have planned their biggest and most exciting “BucFest” yet, to celebrate Homecoming 2013 and kick-off the Buccaneers’ varsity home football game against Fulton High School.
I want to thank all of the Conservative voters who supported me in the primary election and all of the voters countywide who took the time out of their day to vote. I also want to take the opportunity to clear up some false and misleading information my opponent, Joey Susino, put out about me.
Sandy Creek Elementary School’s Climate Committee will host a Community Craft Fair on Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stop by the elementary school to visit a marketplace of vendors featuring local crafters, a bake sale, silent auction and more. The goal of the Sandy Creek Elementary School Climate Committee is to create a positive school atmosphere.
The New Hope Presbyterian Church will host another “Parish Community Blood Drive” at the Parish Fire Station, 16 Union St. on Sept. 28 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come in and donate and receive a voucher for two great offers at Monro Muffler/Brakes.
Oswego Health will once again provide free screenings and health-related educational information at the Central Square Lioness Club Apple Festival to be held September 28 and 29 at the Brewerton Speedway located on Route 11. The hours of the festival are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on September 28 and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on September 29.
A benefit will be held for Helen/Candy Sereno on Sept. 15 at Timber Tavern Route 48 Baldwinsville from 1 to 6 p.m. Helen suffered a massive heart attack on June 16 and has been unable to work and faces mounting medical expenses.
