The Rho – Lambda chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon recently held the first Oswego Community Cares Day. The event showcased the best of both the SUNY and city communities by having a array of raffle prizes donated by local establishments and performers from the campus.

On Tuesday afternoon, he was officially hired by the school board during a brief meeting. Immediately after the meeting he signed a three-year one-month deal commencing Dec. 2 through Dec. 31, 2016.

Monsters invaded Desiree Moore’s third-grade classroom on Tuesday and spread south into the Cicero North Syracuse School District as part of a distance learning initiative between Oswego County BOCES and the Phoenix Central School District. The program, Monster Match, pairs a local class with one outside of the county, and each class creates a monster using materials from a list provided.
Students in Yvette Gigliotti’s third-grade class at Fairley Elementary School realized they had much to be thankful for, as they rattled off dozens of reasons during Family Fall Fun Night on Monday. Nine families gathered in the school cafeteria to create Thanksgiving crafts, enjoy pumpkin muffins baked by the students and spend quality family time together.
