Kenneth M. Dietz Jr., 80, of Smokey Hollow Road, Baldwinsville, passed away on Thursday June 27, 2013.
Rev. Richard Sivers, former pastor of the Minetto United Methodist Church, will give a presentation on July 14 at 2 p.m., at the Minetto church, on his recent solo trip to Eastern Europe. The public is cordially invited to the free presentation.
It had been years since we visited Franklin Roosevelt’s home in Hyde Park. Since then the Henry A. Wallace Visitor and Education Center has opened where they have a twenty-minute film, “Rendezvous with History.” The film is a wonderful overview of the Roosevelt years and brought to mind how he changed the fabric of American society. We often have trouble putting current problems in an historic perspective.

The center offers the spotlight series to help promote writing by local authors and to encourage other writers to pursue publishing their work.
