The Halfway to Harborfest Celebration will be held on January 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Gibby’s Irish Pub. It will include a chicken BBQ fundraiser featuring Gibby’s famous chicken BBQ. Proceeds will benefit Harborfest.

Adam A. Hartman, 92, of Hannibal, NY, died Sunday January 12, 2014, at Oswego Hospital, Oswego, after a short illness.

The Blue Team at Oswego County BOCES Stepping Stones Day Program studied igloo construction recently using the flipped classroom model. The flipped classroom model inverts traditional teaching methods, giving students ownership of their learning. Educational technology and activity learning are two key components of the model.
