State Senator Patty Ritchie has announced she is now accepting nominations for the New York State Senate’s Veterans Hall of Fame program. The Hall of Fame pays tribute to New Yorkers who have served their country in the US Armed Forces and made significant contributions to their communities.

Oswego County Legislature Chairman Kevin Gardner recently presented a proclamation designating March as American Red Cross Month to Danielle Hayden, branch director of the Onondaga-Oswego Chapter of the American Red Cross. The Red Cross spreads humanitarian aid and goodwill to people around the world.
Oswego County Clerk Michael C. Backus of Mexico was re-appointed co-chair of the New York State Association of County Clerks Legislative Committee, and was appointed to the newly formed SAFE-Act Committee, by Association President Cheryl Dinolfo.
The romantic comedy written by James Still and starring Peter and Kelly Mahan in the roles of Adam and Eve will be presented for three performances only, April 4 and 5 at 7:30 p.m. and April 6 at 3 p.m. The performances will be presented as dessert theatre where desserts are included in the ticket price of $15.
