Bishop Grimes To Host Invitational Academic Games

On March 29, Bishop Grimes will host the annual Academic Games. The competition is offered to Catholic School students in grades K-6. Event categories include: Math, Science, Oratory, Drawing/Painting, Spelling, Vocal, Essay, Religion and Lego Robotics. Eligible students may enter more than one category and contestants compete on an individual basis.

JCB Student Memorizes Shakespearean Monologue for Competition

Abigail Venskus, a sophomore at JCB, recently competed in the 26th annual Shakespeare Competition held at the Archbold Theatre at Syracuse Stage. The public-speaking contest, which is conducted by the Syracuse branch of the English-Speaking Union of the United States, commemorated William Shakespeare’s 450th birthday.

Pulaski Youngster Donates Hair To Locks of Love

Chloe NabingerChloe Nabinger, daughter of Jamie and Missie Nabinger of Pulaski, recently donated hair to Locks of Love. Chloe, who is in third grade at Lura Sharp Elementary, had 10 inches of her hair cut to donate. She wanted to give to others that did not have any hair due to medical reasons.
