State Police in Fulton are investigating a one-vehicle, fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred on Sunday (May 25) at approximately 8:11p.m. The collision occurred on Hall Road in the town of Oswego, approximately one half mile east of Chapel Road.
In the 35-lap Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modified feature after a spirited battle with his uncle Tom Sears Jr., Tim Sears took the lead with 10 laps to go and from there went on to the popular win on the Fulton “High Banks.”
The Fulton Public Library is launching a Teen Advisory Council in an effort to make the library more inviting to teens. The first meeting of the group will be June 5 at 4 p.m. The TAC will meet once a week to be a voice representing the teens in the community.

On June 7, the 15th Annual Hospice Cup Regatta and Walk/Run for Hope wraps up with the Hospice “Harbor Feast” reception. Lighthouse Lanes and Eagle Beverage are the hosts once again. The reception begins at 4 p.m. at the Oswego Yacht Club.
Elmira College released its Dean’s List for Academic Achievement for the Spring 2014 Term. The Dean’s List recognizes students that have a grade point average of 3.6 or higher.
Working with the Oswego County Veterans Agency, the students welcomed more than two- dozen veterans and their guests to Camp Hollis. The students prepared and served lunch, read letters of appreciation to the veteran’s for their service to their country from other area students, and gave a presentation regarding why they chose to host the picnic.
Charles H. Woodworth IV, 23, of Oswego, passed away Saturday May 24, 2014, after a year-long battle with cancer.
