The Oswego County Republican Committee gathered for its annual county endorsement meeting on Thursday at Castaway’s Restaurant and endorsed several candidates for state and local of?ce. New York State Assemblyman William A. Barclay, Assemblyman Robert C. Oaks and State Senator Patricia A. Ritchie were all unanimously endorsed along with Oswego County Sheriff Reuel “Moe” Todd.

Schumer Water Resources Bill Heads To President’s Desk
For the past year, the senator has pushed members of the conference committee that were drafting the final bill language to include these provisions in the bill. Schumer explained that the inclusion of these two provisions is a major victory for all of Upstate New York because it will prioritize dredging projects in Buffalo, Rochester and Oswego over the long-term that will make those harbors easier to navigate, and it will help make dams – and the communities near them – safer.
