Gary Thibodeau’s Supporters Plan Next Rally

At Washington Square Park in Oswego on Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., another rally is planned to show support of Gary Thibodeau. He was convicted in the disappearance of Heidi Allen on Easter of 1994. Supporters maintain his innocence and encourage authorities and community members seek the truth and justice for Heidi and Gary, according to Amanda Crawford, one of the event organizers.

On August 8, Oswego AmeriCorps members Ruth Vasquez and Astry Y Vasquez came together with volunteers to help Fulton Parks and Recreation Department by painting the bleachers at Denesha Field. After about 20 years, Denesha Field’s bleachers finally got a fresh coat of forest green paint. AmeriCorps members address critical needs in communities all across America.

More EEE Found In Oswego County

The Oswego County Health Department reported that the Eastern equine encephalitis virus has been found in three new mosquito samples collected last week. They were all taken from West Monroe’s Toad Harbor Big Bay Swamp area. The mosquitoes were collected during routine sampling conducted by the Oswego County Health Department and the New York State Department of Health and sent to the state health department’s Wadsworth Center Laboratories near Albany for testing.

Dr. Hines is a graduate of the University of Utah’s School of Medicine, located in Salt Lake City. By 1977 Dates had matured into one of Oswego’s top pilots, having won the ’77 track championship, and appearing to be well on his way to an International Classic win in the late stages of the ’77 200.
