On November 7, Paul Foster will be honored at the Friends of History Annual Celebration Dinner. Paul has a life-long commitment to both Fulton and to Oswego County. Paul is the third generation owning and operating the Foster Funeral Home in Fulton. He has been active in various community centered organizations that serve our community.

When it comes to world-class fisheries, you’d be hard pressed to find one that isn’t chopped up into special-interest sections. Oswego County’s Salmon River is a pioneer in this process, offering a place for every fishing taste. Its most famous section is at its headwaters a short distance from the Lower Reservoir’s dam. Restricted to fly-fishing, catch-and-release only, this mystique is more than purist anglers can resist. But there’s more to the place than just image.

Burke’s Do It Best Home Centers Returns as Primary Sponsor of Supermodified Twin 35 Mains

With the annual Mitchell’s Speedway Press/Oswego Speedway Hall of Fame and Awards Banquet just around the corner, Speedway partners continue to renew for the 2015 racing season, including Burke’s Do It Best Home Centers, the official home center of Oswego Speedway. Burke’s Do It Best Home Centers will return in 2015 as the primary sponsor of the always exciting Novelis Supermodified Twin 35s, which made a return to the Speedway racing calendar in 2014.
