The Oswego State women’s soccer team earned a point in conference standings with a 2-2 double overtime tie at Plattsburgh on Saturday afternoon. With the tie, Oswego remains without a blemish in conference play at 2-0-2 while standing at 5-4-2 overall. The Cardinals move to 6-3-1 on the year and 2-0-1 in SUNYAC action.

The 2015 U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Tour recruited the Marching Buccaneer Thursday night to the Army All-American Marching Band’s color guard. The U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio will be televised live on NBC, from the Alamodome on Jan. 3, 2015. The band will perform at halftime. Since 2007, Pelkey is 13th Marching Buccaneers to be selected for this honor.
A search is under way for 2-year-old girl who’s been reported missing in Scriba. Several agencies are involved in the search. The call came in around 6:29 p.m. today (Oct. 3).
