Daniel Harmony Named Red Cross Disaster Volunteer Partner

Kenneth J. Turner, Regional Disaster Program Officer for the American Red Cross Western and Central New York Region, is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel J. Harmony as his Volunteer Partner. Harmony, who will be based in Syracuse, will work with Turner to support the volunteer Disaster Workforce across the 26-county Region.

Half-Shire Historical Society News – November 14, 2014

On Saturday, November 15, Half-Shire will mark our 42nd anniversary. We will be open throughout the day, with hot coffee and snacks as well are research. At 5 p.m., the Pulaski Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce will partner with us for a cocktail party/mixer to celebrate our anniversary, as well as recognize the success of the Pulaski Farmers’ Market 2014 season. Kids Can Help Decorate Maritime Museum’s Holiday Tree

The H. Lee White Maritime Museum at Oswego, on Oswego’s West First Street Pier, is offering kids an opportunity to get in the spirit for the holidays by attending a gingerbread ornament workshop this Sunday from 2 – 3 p.m. Children will be provided with their choice of two real gingerbread cookie ornaments to decorate. One for the museum’s main holiday tree and one to take home!
