Live Love Life: Individuals in the Oswego area again showed that they do subscribe to the true meaning of these three words. More than 100 individuals presented at the Oswego Elks blood drive in honor of Cooper Levine – and a whopping 80 pints of blood were successfully donated.
What was once a safety concern at Riley Elementary School, is now a great start to the day for students and parents. According to Riley Elementary School Principal Linda Doty, the school’s drop off and pick up areas in front of the school were causing a lot of traffic congestion and safety concerns.
The Oswego Middle School Student Council recently held a holiday food drive to benefit Human Concerns and the school’s Backpack Program. According to Principal Mary Beth Fierro, backpacks are filled with a variety of food items and personal hygiene products and then distributed to families in need during the holidays.
