The SUNY Oswego theater department’s spring play, “Arcadia,” merges past and present in a two-time Tony-award-winning script from acclaimed British playwright Tom Stoppard, entering its second and final weekend on the stage in Hewitt Union ballroom.
Students enrolled in career and technical education programs at the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation who earned at least a 90 in their CTE class during the third marking period were named to the CiTi CTE honor roll by Principal Marla Berlin.

The town of Oswego will host its sixth annual community yard sale throughout the town’s neighborhoods on August 1. This town-wide event has been very successful, averaging about 45 homes holding sales each year.

The Oswego Common Council voted unanimously to set public hearing for proposed Local Law No. 4 of the Year 2015 – a local law amending Section C2-01 of the Charter of the city of Oswego with respect to (the residency of) city officers and employees. However, support for the proposed law itself isn’t as strong. Some residents voiced opposition, as well as some of the council members.
