Decker Wins Second Fulton Speedway Modified Feature With Late Race Charge; Upstate Sportsman Alliance Outlaw 200 Weekend Qualifier July 25
In a night full of features, there were first time winners, late race passes for the win, and exciting racing throughout the night sponsored by Sunoco Fulton Ethanol Facility. The big winners on the night were, Billy Decker (Tracey Road Equipment Modifieds) Tony Finch II (SUNY Canton Sportsman) Sean Beardsley, Chris Fleming (NAPA Late Models) Amy Holland took two wins plus Dorian Wahdan, Nick Cinquanti (E&V Energy Novice Sportsman) Jim Money two wins (Hilton’s Automotive Four-Cylinders).
Bettinger Receives Recognition
The Oswego County Legislature’s Human Services Committee presented Janet Bettinger with a certificate of appreciation for her 30 years of service.

Fulton School Board Seeks Consultant Help with Elementary Enrollment Study
The Fulton School District Board of Education will be reaching out to a consultant for assistance in a study regarding class sizes at the elementary level. In a regular board meeting at the end of the school year, class sizes for the four elementary schools for next year were presented. The board was asked for permission to conduct a study into these numbers and possible outcomes for remedying the issues.

Art classes, including weekly workshops with aerospace artist Don Gillespie, are being held at the downtown Art Studio at 47 S. First St.

Oswego State women’s ice hockey team names assistant coach
The Oswego State women’s ice hockey team has hired Greg Haney as its full-time assistant coach as of July 2015. Haney joins the Lakers after spending a year at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point when the Pointers made a run to the national championship game before falling to Trinity College.
