Most people are not aware of the free Fiddler’s Sunday concerts in Osceola or even the Hall of Fame. In 1973 fiddle enthusiasts got together for a “Fiddler’s Picnic.” Over the next couple of years, they were joined by other fiddlers and in 1977 they formed the Old Tyme Fiddlers’ Association with the goal to preserve, promote and perpetuate the art of old time fiddling and the dance pertaining to this art.

Breakfast To Benefit Stuff-a-Bus
The Club House Tavern in Oswego and Eagle Beverage have joined together to cook up an idea to benefit United Way of Greater Oswego County’s annual Stuff-a-Bus campaign. On July 25 from 8 – 11:30 a.m., The Club House Tavern, 126 W. Second St., will host a breakfast in support of United Way’s Stuff-A-Bus campaign.

With a line of impending rain and showers that stretches from Central NY back to Buffalo, Brewerton Speedway track management has cancelled Friday, July 17 racing. You can still get your racing fix tomorrow, July 18, at the Fulton Speedway with a big night of eight features.

McDonald’s Restaurants has continued its support of the Brewerton and Fulton Speedways, with a fun new program kicking off this week. From now through Labor Day, fans are encouraged to visit participating McDonald’s locations and cast a vote for their favorite Brewerton Speedway and Fulton Speedway driver.
