This is the third consecutive year that Oswego’s University Police has been selected as a national winner — and the first time it has come in first — in the competition. The National Law Enforcement Challenge is a traffic safety awards program that recognizes excellent law enforcement traffic safety programs.
In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month, students in all seven Oswego City School District schools helped to raise funds in support of the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County.

With the recent announcement of Race of Champions Weekend changing venues for 2015, Oswego Speedway’s track champions will now be crowned during one action packed Fall Championship afternoon at the ‘Steel Palace’ on September 19. The Fall Championship 125 will feature the final point events of the season for the Novelis Supermodifieds and the Pathfinder Bank SBS.

Oswego Mayor Tom Gillen has announced that due to construction work on the Riley Booster Station and other associated water distribution system plans, he is repeating his request from earlier this month for residents to continue to conserve water usage for the next few weeks.
