Family Fun Celebration and Costume Party Planned
The Fulton First United Methodist Church invites children of the community (aged pre-school – grade 6) to attend a family fun celebration and costume party on October 30 from 6 – 7:30 p.m.

The Peoples’ Produce Project Harvests Success
Four raised garden beds containing over a dozen vegetables and herbs were constructed and installed at the DSS building on Spring Street in Mexico. The garden’s harvest so far this season has yielded more than 200 servings of vegetables.
City Of Oswego Recognizes Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Council President Eric Van Buren, on behalf of Oswego Mayor Tom Gillen, recently presented Christine Gill of Oswego County Opportunities Services to Aid Families program, the domestic violence and rape crisis program serving Oswego County, with a proclamation declaring October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Oswego.
Oswego County Health Department Last Rabies Clinic is Nov. 4 in Scriba
The Oswego County Health Department will hold its last rabies clinic of the year from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 4, at the County Highway Garage, 31 Schaad Drive. New York State law requires that all cats, dogs, and pet ferrets be vaccinated against rabies.
Youth Snowmobile Safety Classes To Be Held
New York State Law requires that youths ages 10 through 17 successfully complete an eight hour Young Snowmobile Operator Safety Course and be in possession of a safety certificate before they can legally operate a snowmobile.
