Mayor Woodward Declares Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Fund Drive Season
At the city council meeting held November 4, Mayor Ron Woodward Sr. presented a proclamation declaring the 2015 Oswego County Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Fund Drive Season. Woodward and the council presented the proclamation to Major James Purvis and advisory board member and Christmas coordinator of Fulton, Nancy Close.

November is National Runaway Prevention Month
It is estimated that 1.6 – 2.8 million youth run away each year. If you put all of these youth in one city, it would be the 5th largest city in the United States. That’s too many homeless youth. These are good kids put in bad situations. Statistics show that approximately 34% of youth reported being sexually abused before leaving home.
