Christmas came early for the Mexico community thanks to the Greater Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Friends of Oswego and a number of local sponsors and businesses. The Christmas in Mexico event ran three days long and included a Christmas parade, the annual tree lighting, an Ugly Sweater Dash, visits with Santa, local shopping, a holiday train display, free trolley and carriage rides and much more.
Brian B. Samson, 71, of Fulton, passed away on Thursday December 10, 2015, at University Hospital in Syracuse.
On December 10, the Mexico Men’s Auxiliary Post 369 VFW was able to honor one of its own. Gary O’Riley was presented with a plaque for his years of service to the Men’s Auxiliary.
