Central Square School Bus Involved in Accident
The accident happened at 9:07 a.m. on Route 49. The 46 students on board at the time of the accident were all evaluated by medical personnel, and three students were transported to the hospital in an abundance of caution. The driver of the passenger vehicle was extricated from the car and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Katko Introduces Legislation To Elevate Fort Ontario, Safe Haven To National Park Status
U.S. Representative John Katko today (Dec. 10) introduced legislation in the U.S. House of Representatives which will advance the designation of Fort Ontario and the Safe Haven Holocaust Refugee Shelter Museum in Oswego to National Park status. U.S. Representative Richard Hanna, whose district also includes a portion of Oswego County, joined Rep. Katko as an original co-sponsor in the introduction of this legislation.

SUNY Oswego Armed Assault Suspect Apprehended After Citizen Tip
The suspect of an assault at SUNY Oswego has been apprehended, identified and is pending charges according to a campus wide announcement delivered around 10:30 tonight (December 9.) The suspect, identified as Eric DeBrose, was allegedly involved in an assault against a Seneca Hall resident during the afternoon hours earlier the same day.
