Quest Presenter’s Camera Captures Close-Up Look at Today’s Cuba

During an historic era in Cuba-U.S. relations, SUNY Oswego student photographer Samantha Kaye traveled to the island nation in January, enjoying extraordinary access facilitated by her teacher’s guide to capture neighborhood images of contemporary Cuban culture. Oswego County Develops Interactive Trail Map

With more than 40,000 acres of public land filled with wooded terrain, trails, lakes, streams and ponds, Oswego County offers endless opportunities for hiking, walking, fishing, and outdoor recreation throughout the 12 months of the year. Residents and visitors can now plan their trip and track their progress on a new interactive trail map developed by the Oswego County Department of Community Development, Tourism and Planning.

CiTi Hosts 12th Annual Regional Awareness Program to Combat Distracted Driving

CiTi, the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation recently hosted the 12th annual Regional Awareness Program for young drivers to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving. The three hour program, which recurs every year in early spring as warm weather arrives and prom season approaches, delivered powerful stories from victims of drunk driving as well as the current Oswego County District Attorney and offered numerous hands on demonstrations to the effects of distracted driving.
