Jimmie James BBQ will be providing the next Salvation Army Guest Chef dinner on June 7 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. They will be serving barbequed pulled pork, coleslaw, salt potatoes, and corn bread. Members of the advisory board will provide desserts and beverages.
This marks the 23rd year of the program, which teaches community trusteeship, leadership skills, current issues and networking to a diverse group of community residents. Leadership Oswego County prepares a select group of county residents to become community leaders of the future.
David Hackett Jr. stormed to his second consecutive victory of the season in Oswego Kartway’s Sr. Blue Clone division on Friday night at the ‘Bullring.’ Driving the No. 82, Hackett beat out Justin Pier, Carl Emmons III, Brandon Demling, and Jake Holmes for the top spot in the most experienced junior division that the Kartway has to offer.
