The hallways were filled with student artwork, and students had the opportunity to show their parents the projects there were working on in class.
The Central Square Redhawk Community ran the race to raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society at their second annual Redhawk Relay, held at Paul V. Moore High School stadium May 20.
SUNY Oswego Metro Center will collaborate for the second year with other Syracuse organizations to offer the Wednesday Walk, a series of guided, informational outings that this year includes evening walks along with the lunchtime strolls.
Student safety is a top priority at Michael A. Maroun Elementary School. Several fourth grade students were recently recognized by school counselor Nora Germain for their participation in the AAA School Safety Patrol throughout the 2015-2016 school year.

New York State Senator Patty Ritchie representing the 48th district had an eventful yet successful trip to Oswego County last week (May 19), focusing largely on the Fulton area. Ritchie hosted her annual Oswego County Job Fair at the Fulton Community Ice Arena where more than 50 businesses displayed their employment opportunities for potential employees. Ritchie then quickly made her way to CNY Arts Center on the Cayuga Community College campus to continue to bring help and change to the Fulton area at a roundtable meeting hosted by the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce.
Jarred W. Fourhman, 28, of Fulton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday May 21, 2016.
