Safe Haven Holocaust Refugee Shelter Museum will host an open house on June 19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. In recognition of World Refugee Day, June 20, we will honor the spirit and courage of the millions of refugees around the world. The Safe Haven Museum is dedicated to keeping alive the stories of 982 refugees that survived Hitler’s tyranny during World War II.

A recently published children’s book that deals with hate and bullying is especially relevant currently in the wake of the Orlando night club murders. Ann Marie Chalone-Leis and Patricia Chalone-Hardwick published the book based on the memories of co-author Gail Danziger Klein’s mother (Renee Danziger), an Auschwitz survivor.

Bodley Students Explore Past, Present, Future of Fulton

Eleventh grade honors students in the Fulton City School District recently partnered with the Wisdom Thinkers Network for a community oral history project.
