Oswego County Historical Society To Host Civil War Lecture on ‘Men of the 110th Regiment: Oswego’s Own’

The Oswego County Historical Society will host the final lecture of the 2016 series on November 20 at 1:30 p.m. at the Richardson-Bates House Museum at 135 E. Third St. in Oswego. The event is free and open to the public. Local author Dr. Natalie Woodall will present a program based on her current book entitled “Men of the 110th Regiment: Oswego’s Own.”

Oswego Speedway Closes 2016 Season With Annual Awards Banquet; Hall of Fame Inducts Six

The Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center in Oswego was once again the resplendent site of the annual Oswego Speedway Awards Banquet and Mitchell’s Speedway Press Hall of Fame inductions on Saturday night, November 5. Special award presentations started the evening off with Mark Kapuscinski, of the Oswego Speedway Safety Crew, receiving the Ed Clark Spirit Award for 2016.
