Tobacco Free Network, Reality Check Youth Advocates Met with State Lawmakers on Tobacco

New York State Tobacco Control Programs have been proven to reduce youth smoking and help current smokers quit, which saves lives and millions of state tax dollars. However, higher rates of smoking persist among individuals with less than a high school education (22.4%), income less than $25,000 a year (22.2%) and those with poor mental health (27.2%).

Second LWRP Public Meeting Allows Fulton Residents Continued Involvement

The Local Waterfront Revitalization Program aims to use Fulton’s abundant waterfront along the Oswego River and Lake Neatahwanta to attract visitors and residents as well as spur economic growth and water related commerce. Barclay Greets Oswego County Youth in Albany

Oswego County youth recently traveled to the State Capitol to participate in a state-wide leadership conference to learn more about state government and the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. The leadership conference was held by the Association of New York State Youth Bureaus and more than 170 young adults participated.
