Since April, property owners along Lake Ontario spanning from Western New York to the North Country have been battling record-breaking lake levels and have experienced widespread flooding and significant property damage. Entire communities have been working non-stop to protect homes, businesses and public infrastructure. In communities where residents rely on private wells and septic systems there is equal concern that flooding will comprise systems creating a public health danger.

The Digital Deli Archive is proud to release a tale from Stories Across America called “Small Town, Big Pride on Memorial Day”. The micro edu-taiment multimedia documentary will be released on Memorial Day 2017. The setting is a small town in upstate New York after a request for the Vietnam Veterans Moving Memorial Wall was honored. The documentary was independently produced by John Grala and Barbara Ahart.

Tom Sears Jr. Uses Late Race Pass For Fulton Speedway Modified Victory

A huge field of cars greeted a large crowd Saturday at the Fulton Speedway for racing and Demolition Derbies night. In the 35-lap Tracey Road Equipment Modified feature, Tom Sears Jr. took the lead from Adam Roberts on lap 28 and then had to hold off Jimmy Phelps and Larry Wight for the popular win.

Fulton’s 36th Annual Memorial Day Salute

The 36th annual Fulton Memorial Day Salute wasn’t halted by the early rain as hundreds of community members lined Broadway to watch parade entries go by one by one. The parade, organized by Cre8 Studios L.L.C., held roughly 100 parade entries. “Despite a rainy morning we had a great turn out for the parade both in participants and spectators,” said Heathe Jones of Cre8 Studios. Lawrence Macner led the parade as Grand Marshall as the 2017 Veteran of the Year, selected by the Fulton Veterans Council.
