Pulaski Public Library’s book sale will be held 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 20; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 21; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 22 in the Snow Memorial Building auditorium, 4917 N. Jefferson St.
The intended opening of Fulton’s former beach area on Lake Neatahwanta, Stevenson Beach, will be delayed at least another dredging season. Though city officials were once hopeful the beach could reopen this summer, high toxicity levels do not permit swimmable conditions which Mayor Ronald Woodward Sr. referred to as “disappointing.” Currently, the city is in the process of buying the dredging equipment from the contractor that has been completing the dredging work in recent years, Groh Dredging.
At the heart of the Healthy Neighborhood Initiative (HNI) which is what Fulton Block Builders is founded on, is a shared sense of community. Community is about engagement, sharing excitement, and being good neighbors. All around the city you can find neighbors helping each other just as these three have done on the west side.

Dickinson and her team are in Upstate New York to visit those radio stations that played her song and perform a handful of shows for her NY fan base. One of those performances will be at The Sting located at 49 West Bridge Street in Oswego on Saturday (June 24) starting at 9 p.m.

I want, no, I need people to understand that there are many whom are suffering from chronic illnesses such as lupus, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, Crohns … and there are thousands of us suffering in daily silence with the painful syndrome called fibromyalgia. It seems that no one is able to understand the chronic pain it causes as well as the strain it has put on people’s lives and families.
