Middle School Science Students Get First-Hand Experience Around Lake Ontario

Seventh and eighth graders from Oswego Middle School’s accelerated science program recently had the opportunity to experience first-hand the rigors and benefits of exploratory field work in a partnership with SUNY Oswego. In a full-day field trip, students were able to interact with professors and undergraduates at the Rice Creek Field Station as well as tour the college’s chemistry department labs.

Port City Partners With CiTi For Demolition Work

It’s CiTi helping city, helping CiTi. At Monday night’s Physical Services Committee meeting, Mayor Billy Barlow requested consideration from the Common Council to authorize entering into an agreement with CiTi to undertake the demolition of residential properties located in the city of Oswego and owned by the city or under an Order to Demolish by the city’s Code Enforcement Department.
