Working closely with the City of Fulton, Fulton Fire Department, and National Grid along with the guidance of third ward councilman Don Patrick, the Litwik Street and Bakeman Street groups designed a “Welcome to our Neighborhood” sign to be erected where the streets intersect.
“These graduates have shown their perseverance and love of learning through earning their diplomas and we could not be prouder of each of them,” said Superintendent Dr. Dean Goewey. “We wish them the best as they leave our halls fully prepared and life-ready for the great things they’re sure to embark on.”
Scholarship, teaching and passion led to two recent awards for SUNY Oswego School of Education faculty member Maria Murray — dedicated to evidence-based practices in the teaching of reading — and to explosive growth for an organization she founded.

In past years, events hosted by Senator Ritchie and Oswego Health have focused solely on breast cancer. This year’s event has been expanded to include that vital information on ovarian cancer.
