G. Ray Bodley High School senior Keegan Wallace’s commitment to music and the arts has earned him a $1,000 the Oswego County Music Educators’ Association Scholarship. Wallace placed first in the recent competition among 15 senior high school students from several school districts throughout the county.
Shane R. Vivlamore, 30, of Fulton, was arrested after an investigation by the city of Fulton Police Department and charged with the following crimes: Sexual Abuse in the First Degree – Class D Felony, Endangering the Welfare of a Child – Class A Misdemeanor, Forcible Touching – Class A Misdemeanor.
A plentiful crowd filled the area’s newest ALDI store as a ribbon cutting ceremony officially welcomed the international grocery chain to Fulton. One of more than 1,600 ALDI stores throughout the United States, the Fulton store located at 555 S. Fourth St. boasts a fresh, modern look with priority on providing quality, affordable products to shoppers. Mayor Ronald Woodward welcomed ALDI to Fulton, a project that was “a long time coming” before store manager, Todd Moore cut the ribbon and declared the store officially open. “I feel relieved, glad, and now I’m looking forward to developing the remaining 22 acres of that site and I think Aldi will be a great draw for others,” Mayor Woodward told Oswego County Today.
